Scattery, a monastic island
on the Shannon Estuary. Also close by is Moneypoint Power Station. The sea-side
resort of
Kilkee is eight miles away with its
fine sandy beach and rugged Atlantic coastline. You can
travel north to Doolin, Cliffs of Moher, Burren,
Aillwee Caves and Lisdoonvarna and it is a 45 minute
drive to
Shannon Airport.
